Can power steering caps leak? Just from a bad seal or something. If not:

does anyone have a vehicle jack they be willing to let me borrow/rent? i need to bleed my power steering. I only have a small jack for fixing a flat, i didn't really think it could hold up the front end, especially since the rear sits much higher than the front.

they can I guess, though it's kind of unusual.

you should invest in a jack and stand set. Along with a decent set of hand tools. Especially if you're finding yourself working on something different every weekend, like most of us have/do. If you can't find a jack to borrow, park on a hill??

I've used curbs and rocks when I don't have a jack handy.
