a good Forester would strategically, cut trees down so as to funnel the unpleasantness to another area of the campus

No desirable trees by my dorm. But my dorm is next to residential housing with lots of old people who sure do enjoy their bird feeders.

Lol. I hate birds. We have one that is especially loud. Filling up at the gas station a half mile away and I still heard him, or at least his brother.
