1994 xj... Driving down the road. Tach just dropped to 0. Engine dies. Pull over. Try to start, it turns over, but doesn't start. Check for fuel pressure - none. Check for spark - none. Try to start it 20-30 more times, it starts, i drive 50 feet down the road, it dies. Replaced the CPS, which took longer than i expected (with the rain and how low a stock cherokee is), turn the key, it stumbles. Like a long stumble. As long as i stay on the starter, it sounds like its gonna run. Doesn't actually start running.

What are the chances the map sensor is shot? Or the computer is bad? Or that the CPS i got was bad?

And secondly, anyone available for help tomorrow? Testing and whatnot?

If it was a warm rain... And the jeep sat 3.5 inches taller like the last one... It would be cake. I can hardly move under the thing lol

You wouldn't happen to have resources for testing the various sensors on 94 and 95 4.0's would you?
