I suspect the torque converter went out. Or the tranny. Anyone got any hookups with tow companies let me know. Prolly gonna miss work for a couple days doing tyranny work for the first time. None got pointers?

Symptoms - at idle, it would feel like the motor was under load, then no load (in P, D, and N). Loud screeching noise and burnt clutch smell. Little bit of smoke (not coolant, or oil). Sounds exactly like a bad throw out bearing.

We went with the Axial SCX-10. Get the RTR, you will have a BLAST with it.
I order from Tower Hobbies, some of the cooler stuff comes from hobby shops dedicated to rock crawling.
Pro-Line makes the XJ and MJ shells.
I'll have some really cool pictures tomorrow. Scratchbuilt all of the light buckets for the Cherokee, mounting them now. Also mounted a snorkel tonight
