it probably is from sitting, should probably get the rotors turned and get rid of the rust on the edge. took everything apart and cleaned em up, ran out of lube so I just used spit.

Which bolt exactly out of the bumper mount. You May need to break the welded nut with a hammer drill and fish a new one in

Anyways I have an issue now... Sold it about two years ago when I moved from md to va and now I'm in alaska. Just got a letter from md mva saying I owe them $3,700!! Not having insurance on it for a year... Because I sold the *****! Apparently it's still under my name and I have to produce a bill of sale saying I sold it... Or pay 4k. I guess I'll try to track down the guy I sold it to idk how or do you guys think I could "produce" my own bill of sale?

Didn't you sign the title over when you sold it ir was it just a "here's 1500, here's a jeep."

I did sign the title over but apparently the guy never put it in his name. I think he planned to use it as a beater farm truck or something.

That actually sucks. You might have to track him Down or order a duplicate title. He kinda screwed you and probably didn't do it on purpose.

What would I do with the duplicate title? Sign the back and date it? Couldn't I just do that with a bill of sale? I hope he didn't screw me over on purpose. I think he just didn't title it because he was just going to use it as a beater out on some land he owned

it aint about a bill of sale, it's about the tags, you gotta turn the tags in,they dont care about a bill of sale, the fine is cuz you must not have turned in the tags and cancelled the insurance!!!

I think I returned the tags... Don't remember. But I get what the issue is. The lady at the dmv said I need to fax a bill of sake over to prove I didn't own it for that period of time. $3700 seems like an excessive fine for a jeep that I paid $850 for. It comes out to about a 300 $ fine per month.
