I got a third interview.
I need to be compensated for my time. I will need gas money. I figure this to be a 15 hour extravaganza including flight, purchase time, and the drive back.
What's it worth to you man?

sounds like the float is getting hung up on something. It may be worthwhile to pull the pump and check it out - you may be able to fix it.
If you do get a new pump though - stay away from AIRTEX brand.

must have missed this post, sorry. Yeah I got a 2000 with dummies and got a 2000 full cluster from mikefrost. Direct swap no sensor replacement or anything. Went to the parts store before installing and they only had a single listing for each the oil and coolant.... I dont know if that was a fluke or what. Guess I lucked out. Anyone want to borrow this horseshoe thats up my ***?

i replaced my cluster not long after i bought it. i had to change both sensors. mines a 96. the temp sensor is a pain. they are easy to break and depending on the year the location makes it hard to get to.
