Haha he was pretty beat up. I'm gonna start a build thread as soon as I get my lift put on and paint. Already have wheels and tires to put on

Looking for some personal experience on how to handle the MD gun purchase process. Would be a first timer looking for info on how to navigate the system. Dos and Donts, etc. Thanks

hand gun? pretty straightforward, the hardest part was waiting, I'm not sure if there's still a long wait for the background check.

for your first purchase, I would go to a dealer to buy. They will be able to answer all of your questions. I went to 2A Sales in Jessup, they were helpful and friendly.

do you know what you want? if not, you should test a few different calibers to see what you like

Hes looking at a Smith and wesson 1911 so the highcap concerns are a non issue. He's resident of va though. I'm sure there are hoops you have to jump through to bring you gun into the state. Thanks for the response

Things have really changed since last October. You have to get your HQL before you can purchase a regulated firearm now. Its class time, range time, finger prints and fee's. Then you can make the purchase.

His best bet is to go to a good gun store and talk with someone there. They'll know exactly what needs done.

Yeah come on down. Lots of places to camp. We can take you out to an island on the lake.
