Ricer is every beatdown civic with a two tone paint job and a fart can. JKU is far from that. Yes there is a group who buy for what it is and one who buys it for the look, that's with every vehicle. That being said since the mid 90s every jeep has had a good amount of after market support the only thing that holds back models are the owners. JKU owners have the cash and spend it driving up demand. Can't fault the good co's for wanting to get in on that.
sure. Go back to pooping now.

Reason I call it a ricer is because everyone and their mother that doesn't go near off-roading has LED light bars with mud boggers and flat flares. That's the joke of the jk. But yes, there are many that do use their jku to try off-roading and I don't blame Chrysler for exploiting this. They are in it to make money. And now fiat will introduce their platform and make money off it. People will live the compact design in city scenarios sure. Go back to pooping now.
All JKs have the same potential. All JK owners do not.

My overall retort on the current conversation, I remember when this thread was awesome. Now look at you.

Not to burst your bubble, I can afford to buy a Jk easily. I make more than enough as an electrician. Guess it's so quiet where you live you don't see many jk owners that just drive en to look cool. Guess what, outside your bubble, they do. I never bashed the jk at All but the fact what a good many people do with them, non off road wise.
