It probably was an accident. Driver panicked and fled but now it becomes a felony. Hell, i dont know how i would feel if i ever hit someone let alone kill them.

Probably exactly what happened. Being night time they probably never saw the guy snow blowing until it happened.

no reason not to stop, accidents happen, it would have been a lot less costly to stop and administer aid

It probably was an accident, and a sad one at that

Exactly. Stopping and trying to help would probably keep the guy out of jail. **** happens.

he was drunk at 6pm and driving around on the snowiest day of the year?

I'm sure the driver probably freaked out, and understandably so, but now it's a class B felony

I imagine it was some kid, don't see to many adults around this area in lifted xi's. Probably scared ****less and fled, If that happened to me when I was younger I'm not sure what I would have done, I would hope I'd have the decency to stop but at the same time I would be so panicked and terrified.

Hope everyone had some fun in the snow though! I made a point to warm the jeep up and move it around someName: Screen%20Shot%202015-03-05%20at%203.32.08%20PM_zpsd5dicykn.png

word from family friends is evidently the person stopped 100 yards or so down the road to dislodge the snow blower from under the jeep, then continued on, so they knew exactly what they were doing...

(hearsay so who knows how accurate it is)

I hope thats bull**** cause if he did know that much then i have no sympathy as to what happens to him. Commercial drivers hit people every other day and many times charges never get filed because they stay and they were driving the right way to begin with. However I wasn't there so at this point as said before. Prays go out to the family. Sucks big time

It's possible he thought he hit a dog or just an object. Just saying, none of us were there

Okay, maybe he had a gunshot wound and was fading out from blood loss. My point is we don't know. He probably did panic and flee, but we can't be sure

This would be true. At least the dozen or so cops that had me pulled over said so.

No. He knew what he did.
