I was saving them when I worked as a mechanic. People wanted them replaced and I saved the old ones. Boss never knew why I bothered to but the scrap yard gave 20-30 a cat. But yes, had to show my creds to sell.

I want replace/upgrade my factory speakers. What size/brand has everyone gone with? I'm not looking for anything crazy. I usually use sony, but I've had mixed experiences with them. I will not be adding sub. I already have an aftermarket head unit.

6.5" round speakers. Everyone has a preference on brand, and mine is MTX

I'm thinking my jeep is getting to the point of no return on the rust front. I know it needs floors and probably the cargo area but I've been noticing spots starting to show up else where. I'm thinking I might start hunting for a good rust free jeep on craigslist and start over. I was thinking maybe a manual this time, that way I can swap in my 3.55 auto axles and get a nice "free" regearing for the bigger tires.
What I can't decide is if I want another 95 or if I want to try and find a 99.

Been 3 1/2 years since I was rear-ended and Friday will be my pay day.
Chose to sell my 91 to help pay tuition for my son, but now it is time to replace my XJ (also looking for a Wrangler or TJ).
If you hear anything, give me a shout.
