Your commute on 270 makes you a sitting duck for a Trooper to hassle you too, I don't see a lot of County officers wanting to deal with it unless they are fishing for something else. Have you abandoned the idea of getting something newer?

Depends how these laws are written in final form. They just **** all over the value of the two vehicles I'm trying to sell

Man, I'd hate to know what it would take or cost to register my 86 up there. Down here, just get insurance first then registration and tag. No emissions or inspections.

Anything that has historic plates even with the changes are exempt from emissions with the changes, so if you have an 86 you can keep the historic tags they are making it so you aren't supposed to drive it everyday. The people who have historic plates and take care of their vehicles really well so they remain safe to drive daily are getting screwed. Where I commute to work there are two kinds of cars that I see driven with historic tags that are daily drivers, Honda Civics that are slammed to the ground with illegal exhausts and 1991 Chevy Caprices with 22's. Mostly people that will spend thousands on things because of sound or appearance.

So I got a new little toy for my birthday.
And my friends are the best. Got paint matched to my XJ for it as well.

Pretty sure i have exceeded the towing capacity a few too many times. With stock gears, oversized tires and a dana 35 with an LSD.

Sucks that I'm now moving back to it lol. I honestly don't see a point in my 1989 now... Besides the barney nostalgia and the price I got it for, I wanted it solely because I could put historic tags on it.
P.S I'll be back in Frederick for about four months come the 26th. Maybe some form of meet up?
