Thanks! This saturday might be a tad too soon to take the jeep out. I still have some work I have to do...like tierod ends to fix death wobbles and some other stuff. But 900 bucks for a running xj with minor issues isn't too bad I don't think. thanks for the offer, soon though!

I'm off work at 7am Friday, and I have to be back 6:30pm Saturday. I can meet up as early as people want, cause I'm gonna have to leave around 3 to get home, shower, eat, and get to work. Me and 96xjclassic will meet up since we're only a few minutes apart, but I don't know who he's planning to meet or where. Until a few days ago, I expected to be in Delaware this weekend, so I hadn't been following the progress here.

That's not bad at all. I'm trying to get mine as ready as I can for Saturday, but nothing I've ordered in the last three weeks has arrived at my apartment yet. I guess I'll try to do the oil change and tranny fluid tomorrow. With luck, I'll get my ZJ tie rod this week since my Jeep can't be aligned right now.

Should only be about a half-hour drive for me and 96xjclassic, but you'll be driving through Frederick on your way. I guess you two need to determine time and place, based on whatever time him and his daughters are ready and how long it'll take you to get that far. Time doesn't matter to me, and any place in or near Frederick is fine. Are you driving over to us with anyone?

Well, iirc, no one has said they are traveling from where i am or farther that way so i think its just me atm coming down but i remember 2 or 3 people saying they wanted to meet up and head that way together on 70...

i can be anywhere at anytime, just so long as we have enough time to get there. get paid. and relax before the meeting.
i cant choose a place because i dont know anything along 70.

the directions from my place to the off road site is approx 1hr 15min
and i can be in the general vacinity of frederick in about 45 mins from where i am
that means its approx 30 mins more from frederick
if the meeting is at 10 we want to be there round 930 so we should find a place on 70 to meet around 900 at the latest so it gives us time to travel there (and let me fill up one more time before we enter and start playing)

ive come up with the approx time you can figure out the place and we can adjust exact time as needed from there based off exact meeting location

the address again is:
9950 Downsville Pike
Hagerstown MD 21740

$10 fee per truck
$5 spectator fee

Gates open @ 8
Drivers Meeting @ 10
Wheeling after Meeting

you dont have to wheel
can always come out and watch and ride with some one
im gonna have my dash cam and a regular camera - im sure I (or somebody with a better rig) could always use someone to film/take pics from the outside and be a navigator

my back seat & cargo area is already full with my spare tires (2) just in case, so i cant have any more passengers...

I just know how to get to the places I need to go. Couldn't even tell you which highway over here is 70. Like I said, I'll leave the place up to Mark cause he has his kids. I don't know if he wants to do breakfast first or grab them snacks, or something like that. Like you said, you've got the time. He can pick the place. I'll be happy to follow, and you know I can keep up lol

I'm around 1:24hrs from the place, so where and when we meet will tell me when I have to be out the door by. I'll likely have a small cooler with me for food, tomorrow I'm gonna clean and organize the jeep its gotten a bit out of control lately.

I hear ya. I've got my 3-ton jack, two stands, a bucket of aerosols, tool bag, spare, a case of water, and my gas skid all in the back with my sub. On/in front of the bench, I have all my bottles from oil, trans, diffs, and TC, paint, PB, my false floor+amp, another case of water, and another spare.

I think it'd be best to meet wherever in Frederick at 8:30-8:45 to give us some leeway. Veeb0rg, maybe you could meet Doc between 695 and 70 (I'm just going off google maps here). You could both drive out here together, meet me and 96xjclassic, and the four of us (anyone else?) can convoy up to Hagerstown.

I won't be on 695, I'll be running up 100 to 29 to 70, cuts 10+ minutes off my trip.

In the cargo, Sub box, craftsman socket set, 2 ton jack, ammo box, various bags of parts/tools/etc, oil, coolant and sparetire
Rear seat, 3 cases of soda, dead pioneer radio, junkyard tool bag, 2 jack stands more bags of various bits.
Passenger seat floor, milk crate.

The milk crate was getting tossed so i snagged it, It will be getting tied down in the cargo area.

I used to help out at a lan center in Frederick, Isn't there a waffle house right near 70?

Side note to Clown:
I hate stupid people
think they know everything - like they were popped out with a wrench in their hand
in actuality they probably know less than the person asking for help - irritates me
