thats the same setup i have, minus gearing and my lift is the RE long arm. i personally feel its a little to much height. but than again i am about to go to 35" tires. One word of advice is definitely go with 35" from the start.

I've just got an old Paramout chromoly frame front suspension diore xt, it's a STRONG frame and suprisingly light. I believe it was one of the lightest steel frame mtb's made back in the day

and as a feeler, 5 MT 33x12.50x15 claws, on cragar 342's, with maybe 5k miles on them. They are not the new TTC style. asking 1200 OBO for all 5...i realllllllllly want to go 35 and get the maxxis creepy crawlers

I had the 600cc honda rr motorized one lol and a yam pw50 3speed when i was about 10...god that just brought back some memories

I had a Schwinn mountain bike back home, just for riding. I got into downhill while I was in Germany. Rode a lot of trails in the Black Forest on the French border, but all my bikes were rentals. A word of caution: If you ever ride in Europe, the front and rear brake handles are switched.
