If you are talkin about the C&D canal, you are allowed on the main roads only. Get caught off the beaten path and expect major fines.
Biggest thing about Trails is being responsible heading in and out (and while you are there).

yea thats what i mean. like how you can go down the main road and not have a problem but if you trail off from there its pretty ****ty and bad bad. lol how long is trials? i will definately hit that up if we can get a group together.... i will not go anywhere alone with this jeep till i wheel it for quite a bit and get used to it and all. plus i dont have a winch just a strap

Would love to see them open a section of C&D up for wheeling, expecially from Summit Bridge to Chesapeake City
I'm guessing 2-3 miles long, you would be OK w/ a spotter going in the East Side

oooo yea man ive been through the canal in my 88 K5 with a built 396 on 40s and HOLY ****!!!! i would love to have some of that opened, even if it was like you have to carry a permit to be there, like 50 bucks for a year or something through the DMV or whatever

There are trails open in Chesapeake City - by the Levies (the non-Maryland side). Ran them with another XJ beginning of this year. Pretty sweet.

Didn't take many pictures but here's a few:

That hill looks familiar, looks like the one next to Summit Bridge. Bunch of ponds up on top of the hill to the left???

Id love to come join on the 30th
but my gf only allows me to spend money on trail rides once every couple months and im already doing the one on the 22nd...

now, if someone doesnt mind a ride along im happy to meet up and ride with and provide photos and video of the event...
