I could do it....but with that one the cost is in all the labor. That is a nice rack, with a lot of welding and bending and clean work.

Before I took on something that complex...I want to build a few more simple ones. I would do it for around $200 + cost of materials.

Can you guesstimate cost of materials? Obviously nothing set in stone at this point.

I love Craigslist. When I see an ad for a Cherokee that says "good on gas" I move on and wonder what else the seller is lying about.

For a mid size SUV they are. I can get 25 MPG on a good day in mine.
