Welcome Tom, I'm the outcast son from down south. Get that little guy lifted, or at least on some new shoes. But other than that, nice looking XJ.

Sorry to hear about your headache. Have you called the physician to let them know that you are still experiencing headaches? if not you should be making that call. A concussion can be very serious, please don't take this lightly.

Ok dumb question I got myself confused was reading on how to adjust my timing and carburetor. So basic break down so I'm good
1 warm up engine
2 hook up timing light to nessary spots
3 look at the numbers an see where I'm at
4 adjust distruibuter cap to make numbers match.
That about right for timing
And the carb is the bolt on the bottom just twist up and down to set
Ps don't forget I got the puny engine 4 cy 2.5 ltr

So Dukie, enlight of the recent discussion and the evidence of wear on the skid as stated by Green, what's it gonna be? You know you want a black cover and red skid. lol

Welcome Tom...That's a classic first run XJ you got there....what are the specs? Engine? Tranny? Tcase? Rear? Always interested in the 84's.
Make sure to sign up in the sequential thread too...see if you have the oldest XJ.
