Work here when it's 90*+ outside, and it's 125-140* in the plant, on top of the smell and you'll change your mind real fast. Took 9 months of training for me to be sitting in the control room, and I was an experienced mechanic/welder/supervisor when I started here....
I was in the Marines.. Spent more than 3 years overseas in the desert with 140 temps outside and full gear... I think i can handle a little heat..
Andl im a semi-experienced mechanic & welder & def have exp supervising..
So I should have your job in 6 months...
Just thought I would let you know my motivation level and plans for the future

but they were not hard working - if they were they would have done their job, which was not hard to do, in less than 30mins
they were lazy

i take what i can get
we can pull an engine in a day for sure
but installing, done right, might take a couple days...
i think the fastest i ever did was on my camaro - took 3 days, only cause i had done it a couple times before and already knew what needed to be done + i had a 4 day weekend, so it allowed me for a couple 8 hr days

For those that are curious, I needed front brake hoses changed, front pads/rotors, TC linkage adjusted *i have no 4lo atm*, full brake bleed and possibly a ujoint as it started making noise last night. I had planned on checking it while on the lift, but I'll just do it tomorrow.
