That's the slider I was trying to find earlier. I like the combination of square tubing and smaller diameter hoop. Same style I want for my bumper:

Detours makes some great stuff, it's a shame he's so back logged with orders and he had to stop offering the tailbone.

Personally I don't like the sliders that extend below the rockers. Just from the number of times I've come really close to scraping my rockers on rocks I'd definitely want sliders that replace the rockers - high and tight.
These are my favorite: http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f11/t...ml#post5107992
also these are good http://www.pirate4x4.com/tech/billav...rs/rockers.htm

First column is the year second is the torque range. I recommend torquing to the highest. From the chart a 94-01 XJ has a range of 85-115. I torque mine to 115.

Let me know what your list says. It's an '01 so it should be same as your '98.

We have a torque chart that is updated every year as a quick guide for each vehicle. TIA creates the chart.

I put mud terrains on for Saturday. Does anyone drive these as a DD? How do they wear? Mine is not a DD but I like to bring it to work (25miles one way) to hit some stuff after work or on my lunch break. I'm worried about them wearing funny.

i think its cause its tucked so close to the body, boxed tube vs open and its functional as a air tank as well

I run M/Ts on my daily driver without issue. Keep the pressure correct so you get full tread contact and you'll be fine. I run my 235/75s at 32-34 psi on the road and they wear perfectly.
