Well gents,
Thanks again for the welcomes!
I am busy working on my '96. It needs a major tune up- The previous owner neglected it completely. I started off the bat with the throttle body and gave it a good cleaning. Plugs and wires are next on the list. The exhaust is completely shot, plus it's bolt on...enough said. The pumpkins need to be flushed out and have new fluids added. I also plan to flush the trans and change the filter. I also am going to change the fuel filter and replace the 02 sensor.

The previous owners also had skid plates and dif guards installed with a nice 400.00 off road back bumper to boot! I am excited to get this thing going to my liking and adding more and more to it. I always seem to forget how quickly funds empty when a jeep is involved!

With 6" lift leaf springs can I use my stock shackles or should I put my 3" shackles on with the 6" lift leaf springs instead?

At that height you probably could use some shackle relocators to improve your angle, which will make it ride and flex better.

At that height u should already be on long arms anyway. It's too steep to run short arms like what u have now

It's all up to ya. If it fits your wheeling style or your preference on looks etc
