The only liquor I can drink is Jaeger....ruined the rest of it with some bad experiences

Always some cold beer in the fridge just for the nights where im in the garage doing something to the jeep. I don't drink the cheap stuff anymore though. those broke college days are over. I used to hate beer but i found out that if you force yourself to drink extremely strong and heavy beer, you'll find drinking the lighter ones easier and start enjoying the taste. worked for me lol. Kinda how it worked for coffee too

Changed my oil today, switched to 5w-30 instead of 10, and added a quart of Lucas stabilizer to it. Now I'm getting a good bit more chatter in the valves than I had before. Think its the lighter oil?

And to big outs yes I would say it is from the lighter weight oil. What's the oil pressure when warm? I almost always run 10w30 in the winter and 10w40 in the spring/ summer. What filter did you use? You should run a mopar oem filter. Non of that cheap fram stuff.

 

I used a Purolator PureOne filter, my oil pressure sending unit is messed up. Sitting on idle it says about 35, but the gauge flatlines to the right when I press the gas, so that's probably wrong.

 

Yeah it sounds like your sender is bad or you have the wrong one for the gauge pack you have. Try hooking up a mechanical guage so you can check it. But like I said I would bet good money it is the oil weight.

 

I hear ticking, and a seperate knock sound which I think is the exhaust manifold. What does the exhaust leak sound like? Also, wouldn't the Lucas stabilizer help the light oil out?
