Well, like I said, call quadratec and make them an offer... if its reasonable, they will probably take it. They did for me when I placed my order. The total was $1096 plus shipping, or something like that, I told them I could not spend a dime over $920, and they made it work, and gave it to me for $920..... all they can do is say no.

I'm also curious as to what brand/weight of oil and filter. Amsoil with a wix filter.... best stuff out there.

I woke up this morning to "warning" citations on the windshield of every car on my block for "parking facing traffic" (ie: the wrong side of the road facing into traffic.)
Now I normally would just say, "Oops, my bad." and let it go, but I've been parking in that same spot facing the same direction for 13+ years. This quiet little corner of town is a small community within the city and none of us have ever had problems getting through the street or blocking traffic.
What i think it boils down to is now my big red Jeep is an eye catcher and one of them noticed the entire block facing east on the west bound side of the street. So we all get a no-no ticket.
I want to call and say something to the local LEOs, but I figure that will just promote further harassment.

Not as bad as Royal purple oil... I tried that stuff last oil change and it ran almost 17 bucks a quart!

But I agree, Amsoil is a good choice....

I went with the Mopar filter this time, and got 5 qts of the new Mobil Super 5000 premium conventional. I plan on changing it after 3000 even though it says its good for 5. I'm not too keen on putting synthetic (or even a blend) into an engine that's never had it before with 220,000 miles.

Also I work at Pep Boys and we have Royal Purple for $9.xx a quart. It's like 10 cents more than Mobil 1.

Yea never put synthetic in an old motor. Synthetic oil is superior to conventional, but older motors, gaskets, and seals weren't designed for it.

So is the oil pressure sending unit just a one wire unit? I'm looking at one here at work and its the piece that screws into the block. But I'm fairly certain that what's broken on mine is the wire/connector that plugs into that
