With a proper steering setup you don't need a steering stabilizer, let alone two of them. Put your money into a nice over-the-knuckle setup, especially with that much lift.

X2, I have no steering stabilizer on mine.

Went fishing last night, this biggest fish for the year so far.

Bastard took my rod into the water, as I'm watching it go out, the kid next to me starts hollering 'I got one I got one!', at this of I see my rod had stopped about 20 yards offshore so I yell out 'you caught my rod! Reel her in!'. So I grab my rod and untangle it, and start reeling. That bastard hit and RAN, not sure how but he took twice as much line as I casted out, do after about a 5 minute battle I get it in, this hole time thinking it was a flat head cat until I saw it.
Picture doesn't do it much justice, but I'm 5'11, with the tail touching the ground it came up to my belly button.

What parts of nockamixon do you fish? I've never had good luck out there but my son and I go out there quite a bit.

Haha honestly your s is only a little bigger then mine. But regardless, I don't really fish for carp intentionally, was going for cats and he just hit and ran, was fun though.
