If it wasnt for so many people just hucking stuff into the river like its a garbage can and also dosent help when Harrisburg floods cause all the trash just goes right into the river. I honestly dont understand how the city has a garbage problem with that last flood it should have cleaned the place up pretty good

forget the physical trash, the chemical crud going in, especially raw sewage during a flood, is disgusting.

We always go to the fishing pier right off of 563. Never had any luck there though. I always hear that it gets stocked too. I like just going and relaxing too. Just sitting on a rock and watching the lake.

Yeah its a nice lake for sure. If you go by the water fall off 563 I've heard that's great early spring. There is a excellent YouTube video about nockamixon and how to fish it and different locations for different times of year. I'll find it and post it.

Not sure. Haven't caught anything yet but the lake is huge so there's definitely gotta be something in there.

Never, I've caught musks night fishing with frozen chicken liver and steel leaders. I do know a spot on route 309 in hatfield , pa where you can look down from bridge and see groups of Carp like the size of small children. Never bite though
