True but at least with a community this big, parts a readily available, even used. My last car was an S4 and that was a nightmare, great car when it was running. I would get one again someday but it was a bad time. Every little thing is super expensive if you don't get it used.
Funny that you say this, I had a 95 M3, I think as of now, it is the best car I've owned. I should have kept it but I sold it because it was in a little fender bender and I did not want to fix it or claim it on insurance. If you are mechanically inclined they aren't too bad, I did an entire brake job for just over 300 bucks.
