I'm trying to change my upper control arm bushings... both r.s. are in I just can't get the bolt on the axle in... I've tried everything I can think of... any ideas?

Get someone in the Jeep, 2wd, and put it in drive or reverse while holding the brakes tight, will twist front axle to get the bolt in...just be EXTREMELY careful...

How are they in there? Is there just enough of the bolt preventing it from coming out?

The bolt is in from the diff side just won't line up with the outer hole... when I took it out the axle popped forward... nothing I'm doing is working
Can't get the new bushing to give enough to get the bolt all the way through

Try unbolting arm at frame side that might give u eneough play to.get bolt in and then bolt back up. Bushing should give you enough play go tweek control arm enough to get back in on frame side
Not sure man.
