foxmxrcer is that your dd, or do you atleast get it inspected? I ran into more rust problems than I though I had and was going to just cut and fold the rear up where the bumper end caps cover.... Just dont want for it to fail inspection next year because of it

Thanks lol looks better in action haha
Yes I dd it, but I'm also an inspection mechanic.... Cut and folding the lower quarters won't fail you as long as you seal them up tight, might not be a bad idea for mud flaps though, I used to have a set but lost them at Rausch

Ok, Thanks alot for the input man!! It looks bad in spots, I have just gotten everything off when I left for school Monday night, but my brother and dad are working on it today until I get back tomorrow night. Now if I would fold it up, I saw a write up on it but do you think it would work ok if I just cut the whole thing off and welded a new piece where the folded peice would go ?

Looking at it from your point of view(never did it before) it can be intimidating and confusing.... its a lot easier to fold rather then weld a new piece in. .. once you start cutting you'll see it, just make sure you follow the write up, they didn't make it for no reason haha
Haha yeah, that's what i figured, but that may not solve the rust problem... I was thinking I could just cut it and solve that. Its bad by the bracket on rear by drivers side. I'll have to read up some more on it. I may just end up patching or even cutting and just welding another piece in there so I can put the bracket and endcap back on. Just brainstorming here haha

well i guess to hunt down my oil drip, I will replace the oil filter o ring adapter and valve cover gasket...if its still dripping afterwards it would have to be my rear main seal? FWIW, after startup and running for 10 seconds and then killing it, i have an oil drip thats about the size of 4 quarters. Any advice?
