Splice it in by soldering? I don't think any of my soldering irons can fit in that tight spot

Need some advice guys! How do I get my Jeep ready for winter? Here's a rundown...

Right now I'm in the process of fixing some rust and bedlining the interior. But my question moreso relates to suspension components. Before I get her inspected, i'll have Bushwacker Flat Flares installed with stock suspension. I know this will look ridiculous with the 235's on.

I'm debating on throwing the 1.5" shackles and coil spacers on that I have, and getting some 31's to get me through the winter with this...but at the same time I'm thinking it would be wonderful to get my full 5.5" lift on and 35s...but my wallet can't afford that until income tax return. That probably won't arrive until after winter! Blah. I think the 31's might still look funny on stock height with the BW's. I would get them mounted on my new wheels which are 3.75 backspaced.

What should I do?!?!

i'd keep it stock height through winter. Way easier to do it all at once. You have to pretty much disassemble the whole front anyways to get the coil spacers in.

Yea maybe it'll look funny but whatever. Why not just wait to put the BW flares on?

Yeah, that's what I should've done...lol but I did already begin putting the flares on. I haven't done any cutting yet, though.

Would a stock XJ pass without its fender flares on as long as the tires don't stick out?

3m molding tape to hold them on for the inspection, or just bolt the stock ones back on?

The stock brackets are basically destroyed. I snapped probably 85% of the bolts holding them on.

Bought a new resistor and now 1-4 setting on my blower work. I'm impressed. The whole time I thought there was something wrong with the electronics on the hvac bezel
