Does anyone have an emergency break bracket laying around? 97+ bracket where all 3 of the cables come together, mine is broken

Brake equalizer is the proper term I believe. I bet you could find one at the junkyard. Mine was rusted to pieces, I got one from BigDavid on here, but it was for the older models. On 96 and below it's slightly wider and doesn't fit in the box as shown here on my XJ. Also, I think there are differences in the threaded rod because I had to go most of the way back. That could be related to my rear disc conversion though also.

I might be heading to the yard tomorrow to pick up the right one, if there is an extra around I'll nab it for ya.

I was thinking of removing the bracket (going to do for applying Chassis Saver under there anyways) and hitting it with the BFH

that would be awesome, because both uni body mounts on my bracket are broken off so it just hangs right now

Yeah same with gas tanks for my ford pick up. I couldn't find one. Either it was too rusted or the good ones was already dented/mangled by the forklift

Wait, so you need a bracket too, or just the equalizer? Or just the bracket?

Also. The trans mount, is the four holes tapped on it or just holes and use bolts/nuts?

I think they were 15mm head? And trans Mount has 4 studs on it that come down threw the holes, so, 4 nuts
