I plan on going with these, should the need for hood vents arise...

Here's a thread where I found them. I think they're the best lookin' ones around, and not even 5 bucks a piece!

I ll tell u what. Drill 3 inch hole in the cowl wall as u would do for a cowl snorkel... This would work if u already have a cowl snorkel on passenger side.
When u are driving in higher speed, the air would come in the engine compartment and possibly help cool it down (idk) and when ur driving slow, the air can escape out, helping with heat soak.
Been thinking of this but haven't verified if it will work or not. Just an idea

i built a cover for the stock air box intake that slides over the outer edge that comes on and off easy and now im installing a tractor oil breather out of the hood so i can plug off the stock airbox offroad to keep water and heat out. Help pull some fresh air for the motor and let the hot air out with the louvers.

Here's a question.
I went ahead and tested the battery while turning the key, the voltage dropped to 6, so I went to the store and had battery replaced (under warranty).
I took out the starter and had it tested, found it was still good so I put it back, but not after cleaning the contact posts and sandpapered the wire lugs.
Checked the NSS wire connection at top of engine and its fine.
Cleaned the posts on battery when putting new one back on.
Replaced the crank sensor with eichlen brand from napa.
AND IT STILL WOULDN'T START! It cranks strong but no fire.
I'm starting to think the ignition coil may be at fault. Any ideas?

Interior fuse panel. ... can't remember what fuse it is, or amperage. ...I think it's a 15amp?.... regardless, check all of them, I had an issue like that with my 97, died after hitting a monstrous mud hole, there was one fuse that controlled ecm or ign or something, like I said, can't remember, but shocked the hell out of me that there was an engine control fuse inside the Jeep.
