I have the RCX Drop brakets for the control arms, even though they are not a "long" arm size, they behave like Long arms..... And full adjustable too....

On the RTI ramp at the PA Jeep show, it scored a 725. not bad for a cheap, simple kit.

Nah, they are completely out of the way. Contrary to popular belief, I have never hit them with a rock or stump, hidden well behind axle and tires. And they have plenty of movement, and rides like factory.

INfact, if my rear wheel had not lifted on the RTI ramp, i could have flexed another foot or so... even kept going, but they made me back down...LMAO

And they are not that expensive, move both upper and lowers down and allow full-range motion. I use adjustable uppers to help with caster allignment.... from Rough country suspensions, they are 189 and worth every penny in my book.

I may have to get a set of drop brackets after the holidays to hold me over until I can afford some longarms

Welp. I blew my savings.
In the last 24 hours, I've ordered:
For the TJ
5x Interco TSL Q78-15LT (35.5 x 10.8 - 15)
5x Cragar series 365 in 15x8, 3.75"BS

For the XJ
3" Rock Krawler coils
Rough Country shackle relocation brackets
Rough Country 1.5-2" Shackles
Bilstein 5100 series shocks

My xmas load is spent until I get some gift cards for xmas and my next paycheck. hehe

Perhaps I'll have to enlist someone semi local with XJ knowledge to help install the lift components on the XJ. Before everyone gets scared away, I did recently have the rear leafs replaced with heavy duty OEM leafs and JK shocks installed, so all the bolts SHOULD come out with little to no issue. *fingers crossed*
Any volunteers? lol

Do you have some good drill bits?
I got some busted body mount bolts on my TJ that are give me a heck of a time. One has a snapped drillbit down in it, so I figure I need to head to fastenal and get a really good drill bit to get through the bit and bolt.
Once the TJ is wrapped up, this XJ is surely getting some much needed love.

Have any pics of you flexed out? And do they just drop the lowers or do they affect the uppers too?
