What thickness is the steel? Send me a pm, I might be interested. I've been planning on building a rear bumper.

So a guy offered me a 01 cherokee for my BBQ smoker. He said it overheated last summer and had it towed and ended up buying other truck...

What's the chances he cracked the head? How much of work is involved in replacing the head? I already have a spare head in the storage.

He isn't much of a car guy, he said it himself. I guess I just gotta go see the jeep. Where can I confirm that the head is cracked? It's around 158k miles.

Do a compression test, that will tell you either cracked head or bad head gasket
