I have a 29 spline chrysler 8.25 rear with stock 3.55 and limited slip. would it be worth swapping to an 8.8 or should I just get chromos? I want to run 35's and probably 4.88 gears

Just run it stock. I've been on 35s with 4.56 now for a few years. My Murphy's law is to carry one spare shaft, then you'll never need it. And as easy as it is to change out the shaft, I like the feeling of having it as the weak link in the driveline.
