I've seen so many running 40 and 42 inch lightbars. It looks like there is room for a 50 inch and people say that 50 inch lightbars look awkward on xjs but I haven't found a single picture of a 50 inch on an xj.

It's tough due to the curve of the windshield to do a mount like the TJs/JKs, but I don't see why it wouldn't look ok above the window. I'm re-doing the way ours is mounted and bringing it closer to the upper windshield bar with a lower bar above it.

How easy are they to mount? I wanna keep it low. I will probably go with around 40 from olympus. Haven't heard a single bad review about them.

50" bars look rediculous on XJs IMO

You are a lifesaver. I have tried soo hard to find pictures. never worked. It looks goofy so I'm going with the 42. I don't wanna look goofy. How can I keep it low profile?

I don't know if it would annoy me being that low or not, the rearview is already smack dab in your line of sight. I either gotta ditch it or move it up

It defintely not that. It's 5/16-24. 1-1/4 Inch long.

It is not for the straps that hold the driveshaft on the axle. It's for the output yoke on the transfer case.
