Told the guy at the body shop I have a rusted hole on my frame rail that needs repaired. He didn't want to get underneath to see how bad it was cause if the snow (I parked in a dry spot). I dropped it off and was told I can get it after work. Well, it's not finished, and now I'm stuck without a car cause the guy underestimated my problem.

Also, I have a rusted rocker panel that's an easy fix, but they would rather do a quick fix to pass inspection than fix it right and only have to deal with it once. At this point I stopped trying to use reason and just agreed with what they wanted. This isn't the first time I've had them work on one of my cars, but it will be the last.

I think I'll go look for a new body shop to go to next time.

 

The only right way to fix rusty rocker panels is to cut them out, trim the doors, and weld in some box steal and make boatsides haha.

Ps. I can do frame repairs.

 

Yeah but if I had you do it I'd have to hang around and wait for you to do it lol. It's my only car and you don't exactly live close to me haha.

I guess I should be more involved in this page since I live in central pa. I haven't been paying attention much. I've been stalking my bank account waiting on my tax return so I can plate my front end and buy some other parts for my jeep. I don't know if any of you are from the beech creek, lock haven area but you probably have seen my jeep running around. Its kinda hard to miss. I'm the only white cherokee around here with a stinger
