Default Aussie rig

That is an Austrailian rig, the guy talked about 1000 mile long washboard roads that caused normal mounts to rip off the gutters. Extra large and fully lit for travel through the outback.

This is totally off topic.. I am debating going to CPI for heavy equipment operations. Has anyone done the course? Does being an operator pay good? I want to have a job that I am proud of and I need to do something with my life. You can PM me or just answer on here.

buddy of mine runs back hoe. he seems to like it, but like most everyone else, isn't excited to go to work everyday. He makes enough money to support him, wife, and 6 or so kids. And not that it matters, but there is a commercial on the radio all the time, "is better to be the guy running the equipment, then the guy with the shovel" haha

I just don't want to work a job that I absolutely hate the rest of my life. I'm debating going for welding but I don't think I would be able to get into the class because it fills really quick. I already know how to weld, I'm just not certified. But living in central PA, there is lots of operator jobs and with the gas line industry. I'm 19 right now. I want to get a good start with life. I see my parents struggle to get by and I don't want to go through that the rest of my life if you know what I mean. I wan't to be able to build my jeep, Buy a cummins for a tow rig/DD and then start saving for a house.

How do you feel about working on power lines? Great pay, benefits, and a lot of work out there. I went thru an apprenticeship for IBEW Local 126 back in 05. They have work all over the place right now.
I'm at the power company right now and am regretting leaving 126. I'm soon going back.......

Was that hard? I was working at an electric company back in 06-08 until the company folded. That's when I started welding full time since
