Both front speakers? that's odd. I have had a single speakers stop working, it was always the connection at speaker that came off, inside the door. Check where the wires were previously broken, hopefully the repair is a soldered connection. Check for continuity from radio harness to speaker. This would easily easily determine if it is the wiring. If the wires test good than it's likely the head unit.

Yea,,yea,, I know.
Between work, aging parents and just general life I try to hang.
You young whippersnappers ,,Ahhh yes, I remember those carefree days,, or should I spell that DAZE?
Anyway,,, we should try and hookup,,, have a few beers or whatever and hit a few trails.
I live right at the bottom of the South Mountain and right behind me is a 45+
mile network of old logging, fire and just general trails that if ya want to it can run ya the whole way into Maryland,,mebbee farther if ya do some routing beforehand.
A lot is gated and posted but there are a few nuggets out there that are still open as long as its not all tore up.
Anyway,,, I here and lets figger something out man.

South central Pa here to check in and see what everyone is up to. Close to Carlisle,,Mount Holly Springs to be exact and I am POSITIVE that I have seen several members here driving to and from work in the Mechanicsburg area. Maybe if there is interest I could host some kind of get together this spring/summer. I have the room and have no problems with ANY jeep sitting in the yard or in the rear where I now have a pile of winter damaged tree debris piled to over 7 feet tall and 15 feet across. Yea baby,,, BONFIRE,,, and my bonfires are legendary. But anyway,, looking to meet fellow XJers and share tech, horror stories,,,whatever. I spend as many weekends in Delaware on the beaches surf fishing so maybe that would be something else we could do. I dunno,,, just seeing what others are doing and hopefully getting together.

Nope,,
I got it in Hanover from a surveying company. They owned it since new.
It used to be a baby blue but ,,, NAH,,, I'm all about flat black and dirt n mud n stuff. So a case of Rustoleum primer,,,a couple hrs and some light sanding took care of that.
