I think 2k would be easy to get for it.... But if he doesn't need to sell it right away, I'd at least ask 3500....can always haggle down, never up.

an extension of myself
pick your poison then:
17-54 war eagle, bowfishing/duck hunting boat, 23 hp mud buddy, 4x 100W led banks for maximum **** off effect for people within proximity at night
'82 marlin jet, 454bbc, low 70's, seats 5, aka 4 girls and yourself...
70's era hydroplane i rebuilt for my senior project in highschool, motorless in pic, runs a Mark 55 at about 8k-ish rpm's for about 75 horses, too big a ***** to do top speed, have hit high 70's in it, knee jockey, helmet, life-line vest.
Yes, i have a problem. Don't think i could ever part with any of them...
Heres a pic of me for you all, since no of you ever want to come over and have a fire!
im so bored and no a/c makes me even more bored

i have twin carb intake manifold and twin turbo setup for the 454, i do not have the money now for upgraded internals, it was dyno'd at 380hp @ 5,400 rpm...would like to have it up to around 6-650 and some pump mods to hit low 80's in it, thats about all that hull will handle! Weird story, i met the orginal owners son of it from 82, boat was sold to WI from SoCal, sold to a guy in ohio, then a guy here, who i traded a fire/rescue boat i built up for it...small world? He said he'd pay a left nut for it, and never got back to me on how much he thought his ******** was worth...

it is wicked fast!!! that speed in something so small, 11 feet, is ridiculous! The motor has custom tuned exhaust like a dirtbike and a 1:1 gear ratio in the lower unit. Sounds like a swarm of hornets, only ever ran it once though. Runs high octane fuel and everything...currently rebuilding another one, shovelnose though, with a 1300 rotax jet ski motor in it...not sure what kind of speeds it will achieve. Should push 90. The bottom of that hydro is like glass, i think i have 15 layers of primer and fill on it. All wood except the nose, which is canvas/dakron. Really weird to get to plane off, almost have to lean up onto the nose and then by the time it does plane, the prop grabs and it takes off like a rocket! The throttle on it is pretty interesting, its called a suicide throttle in that it just is basically all or nothing, and it locks into the "wide open" position.
