But per the handbook as long as there is no play it cannot be rejected.
I don't think the issue is with the heim itself, its the way its secured. There's a technicality involving cotter pins or something

Honestly though, if you make it look pretty, I doubt anyone would hassle you.....I however inspect my own junk, so..... Haha
I can see your point. In the 8 years of being an inspector I have never ran into them. I also inspect my own

The only cotter pin is on there to make sure the castle nut doesn't back off. But that is per manufacturer. Some of them don't have one cotter pin on the whole car. The use lock nuts that are filled with a plastic wax material that I am sure you have all reused including myself (which is not recommended) lol.
So the cotter pin wouldn't matter....plus I'm pretty sure that most of these heim set ups have them anyways???

I am now using the great commonwealth of PA for unemployment. I'm such a great citizen. I got fired for no good reason. Then unemployment offered to pay me more than I was making at JLG due to the much larger amount of money I was making at the job I had before that. Who wouldn't want to go for the easy money. Now if I could just find an under the table job I'd be set lol.

Jake, let's do the u joints and pinion seal and I'll join you guys on the upcoming trip.

I remember when I got unemployment from the electrician job I had, doing side jobs off the books, and getting social security. Made like 6 thousand a month

I have been in Pittsburgh for two weeks and leaving soon. Just thought I would comment on all these hills. Wish I had my XJ with me to hit some of these trails I see from the interstate.

Since I have to do my clutch, what should I use in the trans? I'm definitely going to use a redline product. I can't decide between MTL and MT-90.
