How do you guys do an initial steering alignment? For example you have the axle off and the knuckles are flopping around, how do you set them straight so you can set your toe and both sides are even

Really any kind, right now the knuckles are tied together with old steering, but the tires are at different angles. I need to know how to get them both dead on straight so that I can set my toe from there.

For factory crappy steering, the axle ll need to be on the vehicle's weight.

For crossover steering, just measure the distance between the front and rear of the brake rotors
