all new pioneer speakers in the MJ now, doors and speaker bar. Sounds real good too.

Also solved a minor issue i had yet to take care of... When i had my driveshaft built I had used a 96+ driveshaft as a donor. The slip yoke snout on these are casted differently than the 95- and with my tcase being from a 95-, I need all the snout length i can get for it to slide into the back of the tcase. As it sits the casting is sitting almost maxed out to the rear housing seal. Thankfully i had a spare older driveshaft laying around to rob the slip yoke from. I'm going to sandblast it and swap it out to the other d-shaft this week.

Also started messing with my OBA compressor and will be ordering a pressure switch and gathering all the air fittings and lines this week. Even going to install a pull valve for some extra eye candy

Still have a couple other project goodies for this MJ to get installed so stay tuned!

Nice grab handles! Never thought about it, but those would be a nice interior modification and they're not too difficult to make either.

So i have mounted my custom fuse box turned powered relay box (sry no pic currently) i still have to setup my switches.... I found a few creative ideas on how/location for the switches instead of just typical dash board or center console spots. The one i like most was the use of a radioshack project box cut down a little and mounted above the rear view mirror.
this is basically what it'll be, just with different switches

plastic project box 8X6X4, it costs about $8.

installed a few rocker switched with a red led accent light. 10 switches for $9.

One of my goodies that needs to be powered... 50" of lighting power

light bar is pretty much done. I also got the overhead switch console mounted up... Wiring it all up is soon to come.

Now in order to set this compressor up i had to remove the old output fitting from the cylinder. This is the grab handle part of the compressor. No pics of this unfortunately. Drilled out the cylinder cap with an 11/32 drill bit and then tapped it with a 1/8 npt tap.

fitted with a T-fitting, one side for the pressure switch (remove power switch from the side of the compressor and wire the two leads to the pressure switch) and the other side will run to the air tank.

I have a pressure switch coming in the mail (70-on 100-off).

installed my Boostwerks Engineering tcase linkage tonight and Wow! Soo glad i found this! excellent deal and the tcase shifts great! Also wired up a few things and figured out my mounting point for the air horn. Also tempting building a custom front bumper as well..... More soon to come with the weekend ahead.

Yeah, those shifter linkages are great. Haven't heard any negetives about them except for a tricky install from the NP242 crowd... but I think they've got the bugs worked out of that.

Where can I get this linkage from? I'm having that awful rattle noise at idle, and I know it's the linkage because if I push down on the shift level it stops. Crawled under the XJ and mine is kinda ugly looking, so I'd like to replace it. NP231 TC by the way.

Other than that, Love this build! I know I've said this before, but if I can get my hands on a Comanche, I will be referencing this build. Keep it up!

thanks a lot guys, i've been chipping away at it. Mounted my air horn, mounted my pull valve and ran one of my airlines to the horn. I did also get my pressure switch in today, even spun it onto the pump and wired it as well. I'm waiting on a bed box to mount the pump and tank in, so its not quite ready to go.
