Well desided to spend my bonus on some upgrades for my jeep. Found a company here in Phoenix that makes custom suspension off road seats. So I went down got sized and picked out the colors and designs I wanted. Paid $650 for everything includeing the mounting brackets. They will be done in a few days and will post pictures of them but I do have some of the frame and padding. The company is called BS Sand. The number is 480-232-8840.





While I was down at Bs Sand i stopped by a muffler shop and had them take a look at the exaust. While i was out playin around a few weeks back I bent the exaust up from the front drive line hitting the drop pipe while flexing. So talked to the guy and he said that he could reroute the exaust for $40.00 It took an hour.
Heres a shot of what the drive line was doing.



And what he came up with. Not sure if it will clear or not yet. He said that if it doesnt to bring it back and he will fix it for no charge.



Over the weekend I called around to see about getting the headliner refinished. THAT!!!!! $350 was the cheapeast I could find. So went down and figured I'd give it a try. Paid $60 for everything. I think the hardest part was trying to figure out how everything went back together. Took about 5 hrs all together.




Well Im off for the night. take it easy all. Try to get some more pictures up in the next day or two.

Handles great on the road. Dont have any problems with the rear.

Well I picked up my seats today. Have to wait about a week for the mounting brackets. They are sending them to get powder coated.

very impressive build man...I'm getting ready to move out to arizona in may and can't wait to get back to the west where I can actually rock crawl. How is that IRO steering holding up on the street for ya? I've been running rugged ridge crossover steering for about a year now and the dead spot in this steering is driving me nuts. How was the install of the IRO steering?

I upgraded the steering to 5/8 inch so I had to drill all the mounting points. The hardest part was getting the tires alligned enough to get to the tire shop. But the steering is great. Haven't had any problems with it. Well the only real problem is I have to crawl under and tighten the tie rod and lower drag link about once a month.

Sounds like a plan...One more question with the IRO Steering. How does it handle on road? Mainly I'm looking to see if it has any dead spots and does it tend to wander at all? Thanks

no problems on the road at all. Mine is a daily driver also. I travel to california once or twise a month. Bout 200 miles each way. It is a very nice upgrade. If you do upgrade you cant run 15 inch wheels. You will have to get wheel spacers or go to a 16 inch wheel. I found that out the hard way. ( Didnt pay attention to the fine print)

Updates on some more that I've been doing to my jeep. I will go get the tires and wheels in the morning so i had to finish cutting the fenders. Here are a few picts. of the prosess.
This is the original fender in the front.



My first attempt. I tryed to bend the fender and it looked like crap so i cut it again.



and this was the final cut. I went and picked up some molding to line the fender with. I have some picts of that later.



After that I got a wild hair and desided to paint the jeep. Heres a shot of the redneck paint booth I made in the garage out of painters plastic. I had a few beers. Seemed like a good idea.



And the end result. Not to bad for 11 cans of RUST-OLEUM Camo Tan paint and 2 cans of RUST-OLEUM Matte clear coat.









The final install on the fender. The molding that I picked up to line the edge of the fender.

And then cutting the rear tonight for the tire install in the morning. Sorry I didnt get a before picture. My phone has been acting up and it didnt save it.

Well I have a picture of the rear completed but my PC desided to act up. Ill try to get it up in the next day or 2. Take it easy all.

OK. lets try this again and see if my PC wants to work. Here is a picture of the rear fender complete.

Went down today and got the new wheels and tires installed. I have a before and after shot.

And the new. 315/75R16 Goodyear DuraTrac


Love the tires. They are awsome running down the road. Very Quite. Cant wait to go do a bit of crawling.
