1993 Jeep Cherokee Restoration
I bought this Jeep on february 27th, 2020. I am making this to document my "restoration".(last owners didn't take good care of her) Some of these posts i have made already but posting them here to keep this in order of things i have done so far. I am looking to keep this jeep almost 100% stock.

What part of Texas are you in? I'm out in Greenville east of Dallas.
Looks like a good start. Good luck on finding a OEM radio. I've been trying to track one down to have a spare on the shelf but have had no luck.

-----side note------'-
My plan for this vehicle when
The restoration is finished is to
turn it into a full fledged Storm
chasing vehicle. Still stock with
Some armor. Gotta get it up and running
Right(not giving me acceleration
Problems like it has been) and make sure
It won't die on me if there is a tornado
Right on my tail. What are y'alls thoughts?

Cleaned the throttle body. There was carbon all caked on the inside. Replaced the gasket as well. Pretty sure cleaning that gained me 1 MPG lmao.

Good progress. Glad to see you are working to keep this as original as possible. I have a 2000 that is almost entirely stock. I am currently working on a ’91 that I am taking back closer to stock. My build thread is here: https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f46/19...thread-256001/
The 1993 and 1991 are very similar so some of what I have done or will be doing might be useful to you. I am still in the process of catching the thread up to where I am with refurbishment tasks.
