Default Transmission Mount Replacement

Since I've had this Jeep, the exhaust would constantly knock on the Crossmember. Evident of a worn out Transmission Mount. Finally got around to replacing it today and the difference is incredible. It needed to be replaced. Also the transmission sits so high off the Crossmember now.

Default New Rear Brakes

Figured it was time to replace the rear brakes as I have already replaced the fronts. Was hearing scraping from the passengerside wheel and low and behold there was nothing left but metal on metal. Took it for a test drive and I barely have to tap the pedal for it to stop as before I was practically having to put my foot through the floor to stop it(little bit of an exaggeration but you know lol).

Default A little splurge

Finally was able to buy something for the Jeep that wasn't detrimental to it running. Bought a set of Aftermarket Speakers from Rockville Audio to replace my nearly 30 year old stock speakers. Driver side one bit the dust and the passenger side wasn't far behind. Glad to say the new ones exceed the old speakers in sound quality(obviously because they're brand new and not 30 years old).

Default Headlight Harness Upgrade

Bought one of those Headlight Harness "upgrades" for my Cherokee and installed it today. And I'll say that it makes a hell of a difference. The stock lights are definitely not dim anymore.

Curious why you didn't replace the hardware?

Default Speedometer Sensor O-ring Replaced

Sensor started leaking fluid so I replaced the O-ring. First time seeing the fluid and it looks dark so I guess I'm gonna flush it out here soon.

I just looked at my Speedo gear to count its tooth as my Speedo seems to be 10% too optimistic.

there was no or very little oil on the gear and the housing was completely clean inside. Juste shiny perfect clean métal.

I wonder if this part of the transfer case sould be somewhat « filled » with oil ?

I did find another radio at the junkyard which did work but eventually died due to the heat where I live. Gonna just pay someone to fully restore it that way I know the radio works good
