Cleaned the NSS
Reverse lights had been in and out for a little while and recently the Jeep wasn't cranking sometimes so I pulled the Neutral Safety Switch and cleaned it out. Everything works perfectly now.

How was removing the NSS? I've heard it can be a fight. My reverse lights haven't worked since I got my Jeep in 2017 but I've never had any issue starting... I'm sure it'll come if I keep putting it off. I figured before I do tackle cleaning it I'd get the 3d printed tool one of the forum members came up with to assist in removal.

Just to have. Have not needed it yet.
As with all my tools I like having them but hope to never use them.
I am perfectly OK with them collecting dust.
LOL.

The dreaded rear main seal job
This Jeep has been leaking oil since I bought her back in 2020. Put this job off for four years but it finally got to a point where I was putting in a quart almost every two weeks. Bought the stuff to do it a couple months ago and finally decided to get it over and done with. With that, I am never doing it again. I would rather pay someone haha. But it is done and has new seals along with the oil pan. Hasn't leaked so far(Only ran it for about 10 minutes as of typing this) but I'm gonna keep an eye on it over the coming days. And no I'm not running Fram filters anymore.

Well, again... For 200,000 plus miles the crank and bearing looks fantastic I'd be super happy to see that.....I've seen much worse with the same mileage...If the rest of the engine looks that good you've got a bunch of miles left on her...

Finally after two and a half years, I have a coolant gauge after snapping the old sensor in the head of my engine. Should have done this way earlier but like a lot of things, it got pushed back. This is a mechanical dorman gauge. Liked to look and thought it fit the interior. Need to find a backplate to put it in so it isn't just hanging out right there. Even lights up when you pull the headlight switch with the rest of the interior lights.
