Thanks guys. I used a grinder with a 4" cut off wheel to cut the hood.

Ive just always wanted an XJ with the biggest lift possible. Just to say Ive got it. I have absolutely no problem with it being that high. Im young and not picky. And I like having a ton of ground clearance. And this lift I have is good for turning fully left or right with 37's.

Yea those bushwackers look really good. I wouldve bought some, but i dont like how tires rub them. I think Iceland Off Road has the smartest flare set up. - http://icelandoffroad.com/Installs/X...S/Default.aspx

Looks great! The flex with your tire size is amazing. I really like how far forward the front tires/axle is... look at that approach angle. Awesome.

I know that is more than I will do with mine, but love how that thing flexes so far and the jeep stays level. Nice job so far.

Cowl Hood update: Got the walls welded up. Took me forever because I didnt feel like rushing the welds, warping it, then doing all sorts of bondo work. I took my time, and barely have any bondo to mess with. I used the Bondo-Glass and the bottom of a paint can to get my curve. Its very sturdy. And also very hard to sand. Should have it primered and painted in the next couple of days.

Finished my hood. Took a LOT of sanding and it still isnt perfect, but I said screw it and painted it and it came out nice. Some imperfections, but nothing noticable. I also bought a new header panel and headlight bezels. Just gotta paint them and put them on sometime soon.

Washed it. Yes I even scrubbed my tires a little bit. Ready to hit anything that the mall can throw at me! haha

****ING fantastic hood. Make me one! It's such a gorgeous sight I wouldn't want to wheel it... wait, yeah I would. =D It looks way too good. I don't want that much lift, but you definitely make me want another inch or two. lol.
