it is definitely lower than the front. If you’re crossing creeks it would definitely need to be higher.

I ran all my breathers, rear diff, tranny, and transfer case, up into the engine compartment where the front diff breather is.
My Jeep is just a DD but I Fluid Film her every October for the winter. Inside the uni-body too.
And thinking clogging the rear diff, tranny and transfer case breathers with Fluid Film would not be a good thing.
I never knew how the rear diff breather was set up but after seeing it so glad that I did that.

I have done the same thing. All my breathers go up to the intake manifold, soon to be routed to the air intake

Default Exhaust

Mocked up, tacked up, welded up. Need to get a tip to point it down to keep hot exhaust off gas tank. Otherwise she’s in.

Default Frame repair

Ripped the doors off for access. Will make tube doors for the rear. Cut away floor to see inside. Decided to use a 2x3 tube to run inside. Gotta do some work to get it to sit lower. Probably going to bite the bullet and by stiffeners just to cut down on my work.

Default Brakes

Brakes didn’t work when I got it. P. O. Had recently changed all the lines. When he did he ran the right front under the engine vice along the back of the firewall. When he did he cross threaded the line into the proportioning valve.

Deleted the valve. Brakes bleed. Pedal feels good. We’ll see how well they stop once I get the gas tank back in and hooked up.

Default Gas tank

Just need to clean the inside out and seal up the old filler neck inlets and wet seal the new fill port in place. Mocked up this is what it will look like. I’ll up load final pictures when I hang it in it original position.

Thanks. Feels like I maybe wasted time and money because of how bad it’s rusted, but I just need it to be a large golf cart. Got $1,700 with parts into it. Way cheaper than I could by a SXS, plus it’s given me something to do while I work from home. Frame stiffeners from IRO will be here Tuesday. Pretty sure they’ll give me the strength I need to make the effort worth it. At least till the North Carolina clear takes over I start running time trails around the property.

Default Gas tank and shocks

Got the gas tank hung. Rear Shocks installed. Had to put in a new carter fuel pump. Gas line outlet on fuel filter rusted out and broke. Received my IRO center frame stiffeners in. Decided that the money for them compared to raw material, lack of tools and space and time to make my own was well worth the price they wanted.

Got a 4x8 sheet of 18 gauge to button the back up with.

ain’t nothing but somethin to do
