Got the axle recentered and straightened the steering wheel. Took it out for a test drive on the expressway to see if my DW issues were finally cured and....

WOBBLE!!!!
Angels sang. Minstrels played their songs of joy. People rejoiced. I would have caught all that on camera but I was overtaken by the sheer joy of being able to drive 60mph without fear of death.
Thanks for the help, Mike (Red82)! Now I just need the next 3 days to go quickly so my camping trip can start.

Stretched the new long arms out and had a blast wheeling with the new set up.

Looks great!!
Have you straightened out the hard line? It was hard for me to see in the last pic, so maybe you have already.
I know that gives a good amount of extra brake line in the front.

Thanks! Still have a lot to do but it's big stuff now so that means saving up for the various projects (rear bumper, stiffeners, interior cage, open top, etc).

Not really anything new, but the name has to change back to "The Jeep". Even though the meaning of Tabansi fits, the name itself.....just doesn't. Too weird. Anyway, so that's it, other than discovering my rear axle breather tube needs to be longer. So yeah, 'til next time.

Just noticed the LA's.
You'll be happy with those. It's an awesome kit.
All it needs to be better is a full crossmember which I plan to add eventually.

Haven't really done anything to the XJ lately, but I did get a new Jeep from my parents for my birthday
Granted, it's a 1:10 scale RC, but it's a fun toy that I can spend more of my Jeep fund on with suspension, axle, and drive train upgrades. The first upgrade though - an XJ body!
