Red82, myself, Kevin108, and another friend are doing a blog totally dedicated to our unibody Jeeps. Check it out.

It's gonna be a how to site, a product review spot, trail reviews, and basically all things that have to do with unibody jeep

^^ What he said. There will be monthly editorials that cover various topics related to our Jeeps (as long as we have topics that is), With it being unibodies, Grands and Libby's are included as well. Technically, Patriot/Compass models could be included, but as of right now those are only being used towards a couple review articles.

I gotcha. Sounds like a cool idea, nice job. It would be cool to link to the how-to-articles on this site somehow and maybe even have a link to your site somewhere on the banner. Just thoughts. If you guys ever need anything photoshopped or anything like that, feel free to shoot me a PM. I'd be glad to help.

Nice jeep man! Mines on it's way. I plan on rhino lining my floor as well. Have half the carpet out. Headliner and most of my plastic interior is gone. Going to make aluminum panels. Happy trails!

Looking good. I'll probably be pulling a bunch of the plastic trim outta mine when I do an interior cage (hopefully this summer if funds allow - $6 a foot gets pricey for materials). One thought on the aluminum, run soft wheel with an angle grinder along it. Seen a few guys do it and gives it a pretty cool look (obviously the diamond plate is NOT what I'm talking about)

"The Jeep" finally has a name! A real name that is; something other than just "The Jeep". It'll still be called that more likely than not, but for a true, official name (after almost 5 years of owning it), it is.................

Tabansi.

I know. You just had that look on your face that happens when somebody tells you their name, or the name they just chose for their baby, and it sounds like the most ridiculous thing ever. It's that look you have when on the inside you want to slap someone with a chair for picking a name like that but on the outside you're trying to show that you're happy for them. The roiling internal storm of conflicting emotions wreak havoc on the expression of your face. Yup, admit it. THAT'S the look you had when you read....Tabansi. See, there it is again. Check the mirror.

Anyway, the obligatory, "Why would you choose that name?" question much be answered, so here it is. The name means, "one who endures". With it being a Jeep, I figured, why not name it for a quality it has, and as we all know, our XJ's most definitely endure. So there it is.
