Default 99 Red XJ Classic Build

Well, I went through a phase where i was really wanting another jeep to mess around with or be another DD, i already have a white 01 XJ 2wd :/ so i found this baby on craigslist, the body has almost 300k on her but the engine was put in feb of 2011, its an 01 Wrangler straight 6 4litre that has 135k miles on it. Runs good and 4X4 works. i havent crawled under it yet to see what axles i have yet. The girl wanted 3k for it but talked her down to 2k cash When i got it it needed a new drivers seat and a new headliner. i went to a local JY and found a whole set of seats out of a 00 XJ Sport for 100 bucks. Jumped on that put them in and cleaned em. Turned out good. took out the headliner today. I plan on getting a 3" RC Lift and 31 inch bfg AT (My dad works at Michelin and can get them free ) And some Crager soft 8 blacks. Ill update this as i progress. Im a broke college student who loves jeeps!

When i got her:

As you can see it needed a new seat..bad

idk

with new seats in and headliner out

new front seats

took speaker bar out too

Sport seats ftw....no adjustables here.

she had this on there...ill probably leave it.

Command trac?

door panels are perfect

Looking good. Same lift I used to have. The AAL lasted about 7 years till it started sagging. Just installed new 3.5" leaf packs, and a 1" spacer up front a couple months ago. Rides a lot better now.
