I'm up in the Hillsboro area. Closest I have come to off road is my dad's driveway, the road is badly washed out, 2wd cars have fun getting down that driveway. As far as suspension, I am still contemplating between 3" or 4.5" lift. I don't wanna buy cheap and replace parts often so quality is a must. Then I have to start saving up for the build once I determine it's cost.

Oh nice, your just down the road from TSF. Lucky, at least something is better than nothing. You've got the right idea... buy once, cry once and do it once, do it right. I'm sure you won't have any problems tracking down what will best suite your wallets need, as well as yours.

Stumbled on this thread researching Jeep "saw blade" wheels to get ideas for my rig. Not to resurrect an old thread but ended up reading thru the entire build. What a great write-up (with an awful ending to it) and a tastefully done good-looking Cherokee.
So the kid has a beautiful Cherokee done the way he wants it ...and the last two posts are a four word sentence ..."Jeep has been sold". Then the very last post is pictures of a soul-less POS Toyota?? Left me sitting there shaking my head. Wow...
